AASAH Studio is the creative practice of Sarah Weber. Sarah is an interdisciplinary artist who manipulates materials by layering, dissecting, and reassembling to create new meanings and narratives related to immersion in the unfamiliar. Underpinning her practice is the desire to discover cross-cultural interconnectedness through seemingly disparate ideas, objects, methods, and materials. Her recent explorations involve the landscape and its influence on identity and sense of belonging. She earned her MFA from the renowned Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts. In addition to her creative practice she has spent the past decade as an art professor.
